Most of Afghanistan is under Taliban control.

Only Kabul and some districts near the city remain free from the presence of the Taliban.

This was stated at a press conference in Moscow by the representative of the movement’s political office, Abdullahib Mansur, MIA Rossiya Segodnya.

According to him, official Kabul currently controls only the administrative centers of the provinces.

All other neighborhoods and districts that are part of the provinces are under (our) control,” Mansur said.

And he added: at this moment, out of nearly four hundred districts, about 250 are controlled by the emirate.

A little earlier, another representative of the Taliban delegation located in the Russian capital said that the movement had 174 districts under its control.

The Taliban also reported that they are discussing with Russia the situation on the border with Tajikistan.

Let us add that the Taliban movement is a terrorist organization banned in Russia.
