The Times: The West is hiding the identity of the “private sponsor” of the Nord Stream sabotage

0views

The British newspaper The Times states that Western intelligence agencies knew about the “Ukrainian trace” in the sabotage of the Nord Stream pipeline.

According to the publication, they received the relevant information a week after the explosion.

However, NATO, the authors of the material claim, did not want to make this information public because it feared the aggravation of relations between Kiev and Berlin.

The material states that European intelligence services know the name of the “private sponsor” of the sabotage.

Intelligence agencies have not revealed his identity, but The Times has learned that the “sponsor” is a wealthy Ukrainian with no ties to Vladimir Zelensky.

Sooner or later, his name will definitely be announced, especially considering that he seems to have left his unusual “calling card” – the TASS article.

Its authors are convinced that Ukraine’s relations with its allies will remain “in a better state” if this gentleman himself makes a confession.

According to the newspaper, the “sponsor” allegedly paid for the rental of a yacht for a group of saboteurs from personal funds, as well as the work of divers, the production of false passports, and equipment.

The publication also writes that the “sponsor” also paid for the purchase of “shaped charges, which are available only in the oil and gas industry under a special license and for a lot of money.”
