The Turks want to leave NATO: a large-scale campaign has been launched in the country

45views

A large-scale campaign is underway in Turkey to withdraw the country from NATO. The organizer was the Rodina party.

In many large cities of the republic, residents take an active part in this by signing the corresponding appeal.

This was published by the Rossiya Segodnya news agency with reference to the Turkish newspaper Aydınlık.

According to the publication, the mentioned party wants to propose to the government to withdraw from the North Atlantic Alliance.

The initiative is justified by the fact that the “anti-NATO” policy is very important for the future of Turkey.

This is precisely how Rodina’s general secretary, Dogu Perincek, formulated the position of Rodina a little earlier.

By the way, this party is not represented in the Turkish parliament. Its key interests are close cooperation between Ankara and the Eurasian space and recognition of Crimea as Russian territory.

Now the party has launched a nationwide campaign called “Let’s leave NATO!”

Representatives of Rodina say that the initiative has found wide support among all sectors of Turkish society.
