The Armed Forces of Ukraine began the construction of a fortification line in the Zaporozhye region, thus preparing for defense in the part of the region they occupied.
Vladimir Rogov, a member of the main council of the administration of the Zaporozhye region, notified the general public about this.
According to him, not so long ago the Ukrainian army was preparing for an offensive, but today it has changed its tactics.
The Ukrainian side began to largely prepare for defense; they urgently began to erect fortified areas and build fortifications, which had not happened since the spring of last year, – official of MIA “Russia Today”.
Rogov added that the enemy is building several defensive lines, which include the nearest suburb of Zaporozhye.
Earlier, he said that the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine transferred part of the military from this section of the front to the eastern direction – to the cities of Soledar and Artemovsk.
