According to him, among other things, the Ukrainian military is trained to distinguish chevrons and insignia characteristic of representatives of the armies of NATO countries.
David says that he, like his fellow soldiers, often noticed NATO insignia and also came into contact with foreign fighters.
He assessed the latter as “more arrogant.” As an example, he cited a situation where Ukrainians and foreign mercenaries were at the same training ground.
