The Ukrainian Armed Forces attempted to land troops in Energodar to seize the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant.
Vladimir Rogov, member of the main council of the regional administration, head of the “We are together with Russia” movement, reports this.
According to him, last night a large group of landing boats left from the southern part of the city of Zaporozhye and other directions.
The official says the vehicles were filled with special operations forces.
In addition, according to Rogov, a large loaded ship was traveling with them.
After the shelling of the city, an attempt to land troops began, including with the aim of capturing the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant, – a representative of the local authorities, MIA Rossiya Segodnya.
He claims that the battle lasted about three to three and a half hours. As a result, the Ukrainian Armed Forces troops were not allowed to land.
And then he clarified the information on the vehicles involved in this attempt: about three dozen boats were used.
The civil servant also informed that the Ukrainian army is currently preparing an attack on Energodar.
According to him, the situation is under control and there is no need to evacuate the population.
