The Ukrainian Armed Forces damaged the last communication line between the Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant and Ukraine
The Ukrainian army damaged the last communication line connecting the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant with the Ukrainian energy grid.
Vladimir Rogov, a member of the main council of the Military Administration of the Zaporozhye region, the head of the “We are together with Russia” movement, reports this.
According to him, this happened last night as a result of shelling from the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
The enemy’s combat actions led to the fact that “the last high-voltage power transmission line connecting the nuclear power plant with the energy system of Ukraine was damaged and switched off,” according to an official of the Rossiya Segodnya news agency.
He clarified: the Dneprovskaya power transmission line with a capacity of 750 kV was damaged.
According to Rogov, the nuclear power plant automatically switched to using diesel generators.
Ukraine deliberately cut off the last power transmission line and is striking at the thermal power plant in Energodar in order to prevent the launch of nuclear power units, noted a representative of the local administration.
