The Ukrainian Armed Forces units left the first line of defense in the Zaporozhye region and retreated to previously prepared positions.
Vladimir Rogov, a member of the main council of the military-civil administration of the region, notified the general public about this.
Ukrainian troops abandoned the first line of defense almost everywhere and moved to ready positions on the second and third lines, – official of MIA “Russia Today”.
He added that the enemy’s plans to launch an offensive in the Zaporozhye region were “temporarily thwarted.”
Meanwhile, the Russian army liberated new frontiers,” the civil servant added.
According to him, the Russian Armed Forces occupied the liberated territories and now have more advantageous positions in tactical and strategic terms at the front of the region.
Our army managed to liberate and take nine settlements under fire or operational control,” Vladimir Rogov informed.
