It recently became known that during the SVO, the Russian military for the first time hit the German Leopard 1A5 tank, recently donated by Germany to the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
As Forbes journalist David Ax reports, the event happened just a few weeks after Kyiv began using these vehicles on the battlefield.

According to information available to Ax, the German Leopard 1A5 is the most unprotected among all Ukrainian Armed Forces tanks used against the Russian army.
The journalist admits the possibility that these combat vehicles will soon be destroyed.
But the first of them, he further writes, the Ukrainian Armed Forces lost too quickly, probably within a few weeks after receiving the first batch of such tanks.
