The Ukrainian Rada adopted a law tightening mobilization

192views

Recently it became known that the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted a law on mobilization, which tightens a number of specialized measures on this issue.

According to media reports, 283 people’s deputies voted for this document.

From the moment the law comes into force, Ukrainian persons liable for military service have 60 days to update data at military registration and enlistment offices (in person or electronically).

The second innovation, notes MIA Rossiya Segodnya, is that from now on, summonses will be considered received even without being personally delivered to the person liable for military service.

If the citizen is not found at his place of residence, then the date of “delivery” will be the day when the stamp stating the impossibility of delivery is affixed.

Another know-how: now wearing a military ID is mandatory not only for those liable for military service – for all men from 18 to 60 years old.

And in addition to military commissars, police and border guards have the right to check the presence of this ticket.

Violators of the requirements described above face fines, deprivation of a driver’s license, and forced transfer to the military registration and enlistment office through the police.

At the same time, the law exempts all police officers, deputy assistants and owners of strategic enterprises from mobilization.

But students receiving a second higher education were deprived of a deferment.

Earlier, Zelensky announced that Kyiv had a new counter-offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
