The United Nations has called for an end to shelling of the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant.

Statement by Guterres
The UN Secretary General called the attacks on the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant “suicidal.”
Any attack on a nuclear power plant is in itself suicidal. I hope these attacks stop – said the head of the organization.
Guterres also called for granting the IAEA access to the Zaporozhye NPP, emphasizing that the UN fully supports the agency’s efforts to create conditions for stabilizing the situation at the Zaporozhye NPP.
Let us recall that last week IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi expressed concern about the shelling of the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant.
