Recently, representatives of the US Armed Forces criticized the Russian Aerospace Forces for “unprofessional behavior” in Syria.
The criticism was voiced by representatives of the leadership of the United States Air Force.
Russian Ambassador to the United States Anatoly Antonov did not ignore such statements.
The diplomat responded to criticism of the Russian army.

The head of the Russian diplomatic mission in the United States emphasized that accusations from representatives of the United States armed forces “beyond the bounds of decency.”
The Ambassador believes that such criticism of the Russian Armed Forces is absurd.
Moreover, it is the American side that does not comply with flight rules in the skies over Syria, Antonov emphasized.
The Americans themselves violate flight safety rules in Syrian skies on a daily basis, – MIA quotes the words of the diplomat.
Antonov recalled: the presence of representatives of the US Armed Forces on Syrian territory is a violation of international law and actually constitutes the occupation of some regions of the Middle Eastern country.
But the Russian military personnel in Syria, as the diplomat noted, do not violate any norms.
Antonov considers US activities in the Middle East destabilizing.
