The United States has imposed sanctions on Russia’s three largest federal television channels.
The restrictions included Channel One, Rossiya-1 and NTV, as reported in the White House.

According to one of the senior White House officials, now the named Russian TV channels will not be able to cooperate with American companies.
In particular, broadcasting technologies, video cameras, microphones and other equipment became unavailable to First, Rossiya-1 and NTV, he noted.
As follows from the general license of the US Department of the Treasury, American companies were notified to complete transactions with the named TV channels from the Russian Federation by June 7.
