It recently became known that the American White House is preparing another package of military assistance for Ukraine in the amount of exactly a billion dollars.
This is happening in the context of the consent of Congress to resume support for Kyiv, which is expressed by the adoption of the corresponding draft law.
This document contains a clause on additional allocation of funds from the country’s budget to finance assistance to Ukraine.
TASS reported this with reference to the Reuters agency, which in turn refers to its own sources.
They say that the authorities will use the funds provided for by the approved bill.
The document is expected to be passed by the Senate this week and then signed by President Joe Biden.
The new assistance package includes vehicles, ammunition for Stinger MANPADS, and shells for HIMARS.
It also included 155 mm artillery ammunition, missiles for TOW and Javelin anti-tank systems, and other weapons.
According to the news agency’s interlocutors, the transferred weapons, ammunition and equipment can be “immediately used on the battlefield.”
Earlier, Bely said that the battlefield was not in favor of Ukraine.
