The United States predicted the worst weather season ever – many hurricanes

60views

The United States is facing one of the most difficult weather seasons in its history. The Atlantic hurricane season will be the worst in years.

A forecast made in May for the period from June to November suggests that the population will have to endure from 17 to 25 storms, which are usually assigned personal names.

If in a normal situation the average number of storms in the United States during this period did not exceed 14 units, now there is an increase in activity over the waters between Africa and Central America, media reports citing NOAA.

Scientists believe that the increase in storm activity is associated with rising water temperatures in the Atlantic and the La Niño phenomenon.

According to experts, the coming season will be especially alarming for the population of the Caribbean and the southern United States.

Warm water will fuel hurricanes for months.

Also, hurricane activity in the Atlantic will depend on the La Niño and El Niño phenomena.

So far, the record number of storms in the United States belongs to 2005.

But researchers believe the average could be exceeded and even reach the 2005 record high.

We previously reported that the Iranian General Staff published the first results of the investigation.
