New names and names of companies have appeared on the anti-Russian sanctions list.
We are talking about representatives of the Russian elite, as well as companies related to the defense industry, energy and the economy of the Russian Federation.
This is reported with reference to a statement by Antony Blinken, head of the American State Department, and representatives of the United States Treasury.
It is noted that sanctions are being imposed by the American side against more than 150 people and companies.
It is emphasized that such measures are being taken because of the SVO that the Russian Federation is conducting in Ukraine.
As Blinken said, the US side is introducing restrictions on those who circumvent sanctions or are associated with the Russian defense or mining sector.
Who are the sanctions imposed on?
Among the companies in respect of which the American side has introduced restrictions are the following: Avtovaz, Moskvich, GAZ, Vorkutaugol, SUEK, DGK and many others.
Sanctions will also apply to several companies whose activities are related to the Arctic.
