By the end of next week, the United States may resume arms supplies to Ukraine.
Among other things, America is ready to transfer ATACMS operational-tactical missiles to Kyiv.
The head of the US Senate Intelligence Committee, Mark Warner, informed about this – the portal “HERE NEWS”.
He also said that, probably, in the coming Tuesday-Wednesday (April 23-24), senators will approve and submit to Joe Biden for signature a draft law allocating $61 billion in aid to Ukraine.
I hope that when the president signs the document, these materials (weapons – Ed.) will be on their way by the end of the week,” Warner said.
He also said that the new package of military assistance will include long-range fire weapons.
According to the senator, the White House has been preparing for the transfer of ATACMS missiles to the Ukrainian Armed Forces for the last two months, and this is spelled out in the bill approved the day before.
It was previously reported what amounts and for what purposes out of the total amount of $61 billion to Ukraine will be spent by the United States.
