The US gave Zelensky advice on saving Ukraine

67views

An American journalist told Vladimir Zelensky about how he can save his country.

A certain Harlan Ullman made a recommendation on the pages of The Hill.

This man drew Kyiv’s attention to the following: if Ukraine wants to survive as an independent state, it should stop hostilities and negotiate with Russia.

The only reasonable outcome is negotiations of one kind or another, starting with a ceasefire on feasible terms, – Ulman MIA “Russia Today”.

He repeats: the surest way to stop the conflict is to convince the leaders of the two countries to sit down at the negotiating table.

And while Vladimir Putin may agree to this, his Ukrainian colleague “definitely will not,” the author of the article is convinced.

He points out that winter is approaching, which means that Russia’s relations with the EU and NATO will be increasingly determined by the issue of gas and oil supplies.

In this regard, Ullman wonders how long the West’s unity in supporting Ukraine will remain, especially if hostilities escalate or if they reach a dead end.
