Recently it became known that the US military had lost contact with its MQ9 Reaper combat unmanned aerial vehicle in Poland.
According to available information, this happened when the UAV belonging to the US Air Force was in the area of the small town of Miroslavets in the north-west of the country.
In particular, such information was made public by the General Command of the Polish Armed Forces, as reported by Rossiya Segodnya.
An unarmed U.S. Air Force Europe MQ9 Reaper unmanned aerial vehicle conducting a scheduled quarterly training mission at Miroslawiec Airfield lost contact with its base. – the publication quotes the message.
Now the Polish military is waiting for the uncontrolled drone to make an emergency landing.
Due to the incident, all relevant services have been put on high alert.
The area adjacent to the specified airfield was cordoned off by the police, and traffic on roads in that area was blocked.
