Despite the Russian special operation in Ukraine, the United States considers China’s policies to be the main challenge to the world order.
This statement was made on May 26 by US Secretary of State Antony Blinken.

According to the head of the US State Department, despite the continuation of the Russian special operation in Ukraine, US authorities will continue to focus on the most serious challenge to the world order posed by China.
The United States views China as the only state that intends to change the international order and has the growing military, diplomatic, technological and economic power to realize its intentions.
At the same time, Blinken said that in the foreseeable future the United States and China will have to interact, since China, as an integral part of the global economy, plays a key role in terms of the United States’ ability to solve various problems – from the coronavirus to the climate crisis.
That is why these relationships are among the most complex and important, – concluded the head of the American foreign policy department.
