It recently became known that the United States, without any public announcement, secretly supplied Ukraine with ATACMS tactical ballistic missiles included in the March aid package.
Reuters reported this, citing a statement by an unnamed White House representative.
He said the missiles had been secretly transferred to Kyiv in recent weeks.
According to information from the mentioned media, which was reviewed by the Russian TASS, Ukraine first used ATACMS on the morning of April 17.
These missiles were part of the $300 million aid package for Kyiv approved by Joe Biden.
The Reuters interlocutor did not specify how many of these missiles the States transferred to Ukraine.
In turn, the agency recalls: the question of whether it is necessary to transfer ATACMS to Kyiv, capable of hitting targets at a distance of up to 300 kilometers, was discussed in the White House for several months.
Earlier, the United States announced arms supplies to Ukraine.
