The majority of senators voted for the adoption of this document, as reported by the American media.

According to them, MIA Rossiya Segodnya, 87 senators voted for approval of the draft law, and eleven voted against it.

Earlier, the vote took place in the House of Representatives. 336 congressmen supported the document, 96 people did not want its adoption.

Next, the last step remains – the bill will be sent to President Joe Biden for signature.

According to this document, in order to prevent a shutdown, it is proposed to provide funding for national programs in the energy, transport, agricultural, military and some other fields.

The draft law does not provide for the allocation of funds for assistance to Israel and Ukraine – this issue is supposed to be considered separately.
