The West can no longer hide the truth about the losses of the Ukrainian Armed Forces – TAC

The leaders of Western countries can no longer hide the real losses of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

They are also unable to conceal from the general public information about Kyiv’s potential to cede to Moscow in the conflict.

George O’Neill Jr., a member of the board of directors of the Institute of American Ideas, spoke about this in an article published by The American Conservative, MIA Rossiya Segodnya.

The failure of the militarists

He claims that the mainstream media and members of the White House are “talking ad nauseum” that Ukraine is winning.

However, the facts on the battlefield do not correspond to these postulates, as the American authorities know,” writes the author of the publication.

The militarists understand that their cynical policy towards Ukraine could not oust Russia, the expert believes.

In his opinion, Ukrainians are suffering huge losses precisely because of the failure of this kind of foreign policy.

George O’Neill Jr. recalled Ursula von der Leyen’s recent statement about hundreds of thousands of dead Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers.

In this regard, he noted: the West’s desire to hush up the true losses of the Ukrainian side is turning into failure.

A contradiction

This gentleman also draws attention to the fact that both the United States and Europe are increasingly saying that they are running out of weapons to supply.

At the same time, it is stated that things are supposedly going well at the front in Kyiv. And this contradicts what was said about deliveries,” writes the observer.

In addition, O’Neill Jr. accused the United States of unnecessary loss of life during the Ukrainian conflict.

In his opinion, the bloodshed could have been avoided if Washington had not interfered in the relations between the two countries.

It’s time for Western leaders to face reality and start negotiations to save people from this human tragedy, he said.
