The North Atlantic Treaty Organization may force Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky to sign a peace agreement with the Russian side.
Western expert Nick Paton Walsh came to this conclusion.
The analyst admits that NATO will take such a step because representatives of the organization may “lose their nerves.”
The reason is the problems that the West faces in connection with the supply of weapons to Kyiv.
This will force a search for economic feasibility at the expense of long-term safety, – MIA quotes the words of an expert from the American television channel CNN.
Walsh added: the current circumstances may force Western countries to begin pushing Ukraine towards peace with Russia.
At the same time, the analyst believes that the terms of a potential peace agreement may turn out to be unfavorable for the Ukrainian side.
Arms supplies to Ukraine
The West began actively supplying arms to Kyiv after Russia launched a military offensive in Ukraine.
The Russian side believes that with such actions Western countries are only prolonging the Ukrainian conflict.
The Russian leader’s press secretary, Dmitry Peskov, stated that the supply of Western weapons to Kyiv does not contribute to the resumption of negotiations between Russia and Ukraine.
And the Russian Ministry of Defense noted that warehouses with Western weapons located in Ukraine will be legitimate targets for the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.
