About a week ago, the Ukrainian Armed Forces began using cluster munitions received from the United States.
John Kirby, coordinator for strategic communications at the White House National Security Council, notified the general public about this through journalists.
The official answered in the affirmative when asked whether the Ukrainian army had begun to use cluster shells transferred to it by America.
The coordinator also drew attention to the fact that Washington tried to deliver these weapons to this country as quickly as possible.

Earlier, The Washington Post, citing sources among Kyiv officials, reported that the Ukrainian Armed Forces began using these weapons in the southeast of the front, thus trying to break through the enemy’s fortified positions.
