“The whole prison is laughing”: the secret of Mikheil Saakashvili’s hunger strike has been revealed

0views

The details of Mikheil Saakashvili’s hunger strike, which the disgraced Georgian politician announced almost immediately after his arrest, have become known.

The former president was detained in early October, after which he declared himself a political prisoner and demanded a meeting with the Ukrainian consul.

But as it became known, the hunger strike declared by the politician is far from the truth.

Chairman of the Georgian Dream party Irakli Kobakhidze said that the hunger strike of former Georgian President and now imprisoned Mikheil Saakashvili is an imitation.

The whole prison is laughing at the fact that Saakashvili drinks three liters of lemonade a day,” MIA quotes the politician as saying.

According to Kobakhidze, the prisoner’s daily diet consists of three liters of lemonade.

It also became known that the imitation hunger strike, which had been going on for almost a month, was supposed to end in a simulation.

In a conversation with journalists, the chairman of the political party said that on the day of voting in Georgia, Saakashvili should have announced that he “allegedly felt ill, and thus arouse emotions among his supporters.”
