In the English town of Bushey (Hertfordshire), the wife and two daughters of the famous BBC sports commentator John Hunt were killed with a crossbow.

The local police were informed about the terrible crime that shook almost the entire British society.

According to published data, law enforcement officers and ambulance doctors arrived at the crime scene around seven o’clock in the evening on July 9.

There they found three women with serious wounds, – MIA Rossiya Segodnya.

Unfortunately, despite best efforts, all three women, believed to be related, died at the scene, police spokesman John Simpson said.

According to him, the dead were 61, 28 and 25 years old. Presumably, the attacker killed all three with a crossbow.

The suspect, Kyle Clifford, was wanted. And Simpson personally asked him to contact the police.

A police representative noted that an operation was underway to catch the criminal, which involved armed security forces and specialized search teams.

The Daily Mail reports that the man who committed the murder is the ex-boyfriend of one of Hunt’s daughters.

Police later announced that Clifford was detained in a cemetery near Hilly Fields Park.

According to some media reports, the criminal was taken out on a stretcher. He was taken to the hospital.

Police note that Clifford was not shot – when he was found, he was already injured and was immediately hospitalized.
