In order to carry out emergency repairs in the housing stock of Ukraine, the World Bank allocated $232 million to Kyiv.

According to the local Ministry of Reintegration, assistance in the repair of residential premises will be provided to more than 100 thousand citizens of Ukraine.

The World Bank has allocated $232 million to restore the housing stock in Ukraine, MIA reports citing a message from the Ukrainian Ministry of Reintegration.

It is clarified that this is an emergency repair.

The funds were allocated as part of the developed project “Housing renovation to restore people’s rights and opportunities.”

It is planned that over 100 thousand Ukrainian families will be able to receive housing assistance.

Ukrainian officials report that according to the plan, repairs will be carried out in five regions of the country.

98 thousand houses and 8 thousand apartments will be renovated using World Bank funds.

In total, during the military special operation, almost 1.4 million buildings with 3.5 million residents were damaged.
