The wreckage of the Titan bathyscaphe, which sank in the Atlantic Ocean, found by an underwater vehicle, was brought to land.

The message was transmitted by the Canadian television channel CBC News.

According to the TV channel, the submersible was transported by the ship Horizon Arctic – it has already returned to Canada to the port of Saint John.

The TV channel’s report said that the submersible was found by a remotely controlled vehicle – it discovered debris several hundred meters from the Titanic’s hull.

Among the wreckage, a piece was found that was the bow of the Titan. A part of the hull with the OceanGate logo was also found.

The wreckage of the bathyscaphe will be given to investigators to conduct a more detailed investigation into the causes of the accident.

Earlier, the US Coast Guard voiced a version that the Titan bathyscaphe collapsed due to an explosion, which led to the death of passengers.

Participants in the search operation have already reported that there is very little hope of recovering the remains of the victims.
