Recently it became known about Vladimir Zelensky’s plans to visit Israel. The trip was planned for next week.
However, Channel 12 of Israeli television leaked information on this topic, which greatly disappointed the President of Ukraine.
This statement was made by The Times of Israel newspaper, citing an unnamed Ukrainian diplomat – TASS.
Zelensky wanted the visit to become known only when he set foot on Israeli soil, – the Israeli newspaper quotes its source as saying.
He also said that in light of the incident, the Ukrainian leader was “very disappointed.”
Let us recall that the above-mentioned Channel 12 reported two days ago that Tel Aviv expects Zelensky’s arrival on November 6 or 7.
The TV channel also refers to diplomatic sources who claim that “high-level” negotiations were held between the countries on the issue of Zelensky’s visit to Israel.
But the Ukrainian press reported on November 3 that the head of state would not go to Israel next week.
The media cited a representative of the Ukrainian government as the primary source of such information.
