A Boeing 737 passenger airliner crashed in southern China. There were 133 people on board.

According to the Central Television of the People’s Republic of China, the disaster occurred in Teng County, Wuzhou City District in the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region of the country, – MIA Rossiya Segodnya.

At the moment, there is no information about dead or injured. Search and rescue operations began not long ago.

It is also reported that a forest fire broke out at the site where the airliner supposedly fell.

What caused the plane crash is also unknown.

According to the Russian Consulate General in Guangzhou, there is no evidence that Russian citizens could have been on board the aircraft.
