Third flight for repatriation of Brazilians takes off towards Lebanon

for the repatriation of Brazilians in Lebanon took off from the São Paulo Air Base at 12:25 pm this Tuesday (8).

The aircraft will make a stopover in Lisbon, Portugal, and then head to Beirut. The group is expected to board the flight to return to Brazil on Wednesday (9).

Passengers who have been selected are already being notified by the Beirut Embassy. The meeting point is Beirut International Airport and each person is responsible for their own travel to the location.

FAB took to Lebanon a donation of medical and hospital supplies requested by local authorities. According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, other emergency goods must be transported on upcoming flights.

In the crew, there is a multidisciplinary team with three doctors, two nurses and two psychologists to guarantee reception and assistance.
