The EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Josep Borrell, made an important statement.
He notified the general public that Europeans will not die for Donbass.
He also spoke about the undesirability of intimidating citizens of EU countries with the inevitability of war.
There is no need to scare people by saying that war is inevitable. The need to support Ukraine is inevitable. This is not about dying for Donbass, this is about helping Ukrainians, – diplomat of MIA “Russia Today”.
It is noted that Borrell made this statement after Emmanuel Macron’s statements that Brussels is now considering the possibility of sending military personnel from EU countries to Ukraine.
But this state of affairs, voiced by the French President, was not approved by his colleagues from other European countries, as well as by the opposition in his home country.
This did not stop Macron, and he noted that Paris intends to do everything possible to prevent Russia “from winning this war.”
Earlier, Politico reported that the European Union is secretly considering Ukraine’s accession to the EU.
