On Thursday, October 20, restrictions on the supply of electrical energy were introduced throughout Ukraine.

In other words, electricity will be temporarily cut off in cities and other populated areas of the country.

The deputy head of the office of the President of the country, Kirill Timoshenko, warned his compatriots about this the day before, on October 19.

Tomorrow, October 20, electricity supply restrictions will be introduced throughout Ukraine, – official of MIA “Russia Today”.

He called on Ukrainians in all regions to use electricity to a minimum during the period from seven o’clock in the morning to eleven o’clock in the evening.

Otherwise, he said, temporary outages cannot be avoided.

Tymoshenko added that the restrictions will primarily affect factories and enterprises. And in cities, street lighting will be limited.

Later, Ukrenergo issued an explanation regarding the announced restrictions.

According to company representatives, the shutdowns will not be simultaneous – they will take place in a “fan” mode.

It is noted that electricity will be turned off for a maximum of four hours.

The reason for the restrictions is a lack of power in the system. We do not rule out that with the onset of cold weather we will ask for your help more often,” the company noted.
