Train traffic stopped in Germany – sabotage

In northern Germany, train traffic was stopped on Saturday morning, October 8. This was due to sabotage.

This information is available from the dpa news agency, citing a representative of Deutsche Bahn.

According to an employee of the railway operator, unknown persons damaged the cables on the tracks.

Security officials are currently investigating the incident.

Earlier, Deutsche Bahn reported that in the north of the country, due to technical faults, the movement of long-distance trains was completely paralyzed.

The malfunction was fixed after some time, but the company said that there may be disruptions and, consequently, delays in train movement during the day.
