Treatment of unvaccinated patients against COVID-19 will be paid in Singapore

0views

Patients who refuse to be vaccinated will no longer be treated for COVID-19.

The corresponding decision was approved by the authorities of Singapore. These patients will soon not have their medical bills paid as they were until recently, but some cases are the exception.

Foreign media, citing a statement by representatives of the country’s Ministry of Health, report that if an unvaccinated patient ends up in a hospital with a diagnosis of COVID-19, then the treatment for him will be paid.

At the moment, medical attention in Singapore is mainly required for unvaccinated patients.

New unpopular measures against “anti-vaxxers” will take effect on December 8th.

Only sick children under 12 years of age will continue to be treated free of charge. This category of the population is still prohibited from getting vaccinated.

Currently, 85% of the population in Singapore has been fully vaccinated, and another 18% of citizens have been vaccinated with the three components of the coronavirus drug.
