He repeatedly criticized the multi-billion dollar US aid to this country and called for dialogue with Russia.
Vance reported that the desire expressed by Kiev to achieve the restoration of the 1991 borders is far from reality.
According to the senator, the conflict can be resolved only by affirming the neutral status of Ukraine while simultaneously freezing territorial disputes.
