Türkiye intends to join South Africa’s lawsuit against Israel in the International Court of Justice of the United Nations.

This information was announced by Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan on May 1 at a press conference with Indonesian Foreign Minister Retno Marsudi.

The minister recalled that Türkiye immediately supported South Africa’s decision to file a lawsuit against Israel.

According to Fidan, Ankara is now exploring options for participating in this lawsuit.
