Türkiye reiterated its readiness to supply gas to Europe from the Eastern Mediterranean as an alternative to Russian gas.
This proposal was voiced by the official representative of the Turkish President Ibrahim Kalin.
In an interview, he said that gas from the Eastern Mediterranean is one of the main alternatives to Russian gas and that Ankara is ready to help with its supplies.
According to Kalin, experts say that the most suitable route for the transit of gas from the Eastern Mediterranean passes through Turkey.
The representative of the Turkish head of state recalled that Turkey has a gas pipeline running to Ceyhan.
We can transport gas from here to European capitals, – Calyn stated.

Israel in the Eastern Mediterranean gas domestically and supplies it to Europe.
In April, Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu announced the possibility of building a gas pipeline between Turkey and Israel in 4-5 years if such a decision is made.
