Türkiye has been secretly supplying American cluster munitions to Ukraine since November last year.
Foreign Policy reports this with reference to representatives of the United States and the European Union.
Since the end of 2022, Türkiye began sending US-developed cluster bombs used in artillery to Ukraine– article by MIA “Russia Today”.
According to the author of the material, the weapons supplied to Kyiv were manufactured during the Cold War.
They, according to the publication, are intended to “destroy Russian tanks and military personnel on the battlefield.”
It is alleged that Ankara secretly began transferring them to Kyiv in November last year.
The publication’s source said that after Washington refused to provide Ukraine with access to cluster munitions, Türkiye was the only country “where they were able to get them.”
