47views

The heads of the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Health of Great Britain Rishi Sunak and Sajid Javid announced their resignation.

The ministers explained their decision by a loss of confidence in Boris Johnson, with whose policies they do not agree.

As Sunak said, “the public has a right to expect” the government to do a proper job that is “serious and competent.”

This may be my last job as minister, but I believe these standards are worth fighting for and that is why I am resigning. – official of MIA “Russia Today”.

And Javid justified his resignation from his position as a “loss of confidence” in the Prime Minister.

Earlier this month, the Conservatives wanted to pass a vote of no confidence in Johnson, but did not get the required number of votes.

Johnson has come under merciless criticism for hosting parties during the nationwide coronavirus lockdown.

The head of government later apologized for his actions and said that he had paid the fine issued by the police.
