Ukraine has laid out two routes for the export of grain reserves

44views

Kyiv has developed two routes for exporting those same 20 million tons of grain that should save humanity from the global food crisis.

According to the plans of Ukrainian officials, the grain will be sent through Poland and Romania. At the same time, negotiations are underway with the Baltic countries.

Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmitry Sennik spoke about the development of grain transportation routes in an interview with the agency.

In parallel, negotiations are ongoing with the governments of the Baltic countries with the aim of organizing a third food corridor.

However, everything is not so simple. According to the Ukrainian official, it is possible that congestion may occur along the routes along the ready-made routes.

In the meantime, the fate of Ukrainian grain reserves remains unknown, since the official did not say how many tons have already been sent and whether they have been sent at all.

Let us recall that Russian President Vladimir Putin previously stated that the unhindered passage of ships loaded with Ukrainian grain will be guaranteed.

Kyiv was only required to clear the ports of mines.

Options for shipping food through ports in Berdyansk and Mariupol or transportation by land through the territory of the Republic of Belarus were also proposed for consideration.

But to implement the latter option it would be necessary to lift sanctions from the republic.
