The head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Kirill Budanov, made a statement about Crimea.
In particular, he stated that Kyiv intends to return the peninsula under its control, using “force and diplomacy” for this.
Crimea will be returned through a combination of force and diplomacy. But without strength nothing will happen. Our units will go there with weapons in their hands, – Head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of MIA “Russia Today”.
In turn, the agency recalls that the Ukrainian authorities constantly make threats against Moscow.
The Kremlin previously said that the security of the region is guaranteed at the expense of the Russian military.
However, Moscow takes into account the aggressive statements coming from Kyiv.
Relatively not so long ago, Vladimir Putin stated that the Crimea issue was “finally closed.”
Let us add that a Russian special military operation is currently ongoing in Ukraine.
