The head of Vladimir Zelensky’s office, Mikhail Podolyak, spoke about the state of affairs at the front during an interview with Corriere della Sera.

He says that the Ukrainian army is following a counteroffensive plan and is gradually increasing the intensity of hostilities.

Podolyak’s words are reported that the Ukrainian Armed Forces are still continuing the offensive, despite the lack of ammunition and the well-organized defense of the Russian Armed Forces.

He also says that the defense line stretches over a distance of more than 1,800 kilometers, and the total area of minefields is about 20 square kilometers.

Podolyak reports that Russian troops have created three lines of defense, which include trenches, bunkers, artillery, military equipment and structures.

An adviser to the head of the office, Vladimir Zelensky, notes that about 360 thousand soldiers are involved in organizing the defense, who are supported by aviation.

Podolyak notes that, despite all the defensive measures carried out by the Russian Armed Forces, the Ukrainian army continues to follow the offensive plan.
