On Monday, February 12, on the anniversary of the signing of the Minsk agreements, a meeting of the UN Security Council is being organized.

The event will be held at the request of Russia. The main topic, according to available information, is the situation in Ukraine.

In particular, TASS talks about this with reference to information provided by the First Deputy Permanent Representative of the Russian Federation to the UN, Dmitry Polyansky.

According to him, Moscow on this day – the anniversary of the Minsk agreements – wants to remind what a historical chance for a peaceful solution to the “internal Ukrainian crisis” was missed by Kyiv and its sponsors.

“We’ll also talk about how, due to the actions of the Western members of the Security Council, the Council failed in implementing one of its most important tasks – preventing crises and conflicts,” the diplomat announced.

And he said that the meeting would start at ten o’clock in the morning New York time (six o’clock in the evening Moscow time).

Earlier, Elon Musk spoke about the “Ukrainian meat grinder.”
