At least, this information was published by Verkhovna Rada deputy Alexey Goncharenko on his Telegram channel.
Most likely from tomorrow from 16:00 (from 17:00 Belarusian time. – Ed.) pabout Kyiv, air traffic in Ukraine will be suspended, – the politician wrote.
He added that the owners of leased aircraft already prohibit airliners from crossing Ukrainian airspace.
In particular, KLM airline canceled its flights. And the Sky Up company landed a plane flying from Funchal (a city on the Portuguese island of Madeira) in Chisinau.
Aleksey Goncharenko noted that the French airline Air France is ready to introduce a similar ban.
In connection with the current circumstances, the deputy called on Ukrainians abroad who are planning to return to their homeland to do so as quickly as possible.
According to him, returning to Ukraine in the next couple of weeks will probably be very difficult.
