American billionaire Bill Ackman called on Ukraine to leave Crimea to Russia and refuse to join NATO.
He stated that the peninsula was part of the Russian Federation until 1954. And today, according to a US citizen, mainly “ethnic Russians” live there.
The investor added that it was for this reason that “the world did little” when Crimea was reunited with Russia in 2014.
In this way, the billionaire joined the discussion started by another American owner of a billion-dollar fortune, Elon Musk.
By the way, the latter adheres to approximately the same position, declaring that the way out of the crisis could be Russia’s retention of Crimea.
However, Mr. Ekman is convinced of the need to continue supplying weapons to Kyiv.

As for NATO, Ekman believes that Kyiv does not need to join the Alliance, since it has “proven that it can defend itself.”
