Ukraine will conduct exercises in case of a possible emergency at Zaporizhia NPP

0views

The head of the regional military administration, Yuri Malashko, appointed from Kyiv, spoke in his official Telegram channel about the upcoming exercises.

These exercises will be aimed at practicing actions in case of an emergency at the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant.

Earlier, Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky said that he had received a report from the SBU intelligence service, which described Russia’s intentions to carry out a terrorist attack at the Zaporizhia NPP.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has already described the Ukrainian leader’s assumption “as complete nonsense.”

Russia’s permanent representative to the UN, Vasily Nebenzya, also previously spoke out on this issue – he believes that the paranoid statements of the Ukrainian administration are alarming Moscow.

Nebenzya added that the IAEA mission, which visited the territory of the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant in June, could be convinced of the absurdity of Kyiv’s statement.

Malashko said that the exercises will begin very soon – the training will take place on the territory of the Zaporozhye region.
