The Ukrainian Armed Forces have already received cluster munitions. And not only from the USA, but also from some other countries.
The general public was notified of this by the Director of Operations of the Joint Staff of the Pentagon, General Douglas Sims.
We know that there were some cluster munitions there that were previously transferred by third countries, – Military MIA “Russia Today”.
According to him, these shells have already been delivered to Ukraine. The information was confirmed by Brigadier General of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Alexander Tarnavsky.
The States say they have received assurances from Kyiv in the form of written guarantees about the use of such weapons with minimal risks to civilians.
But the Russian Embassy in the United States has a different opinion, believing that such statements (about the “careful” use of cluster shells) are only a clumsy attempt to justify their own provocative actions.
The Ukrainian Armed Forces will not comply with any “restrictions” when choosing targets, because they are in despair due to colossal losses and the inability to achieve success at the front, Russian diplomats noted.
And Dmitry Peskov said that the transfer of cluster munitions to Kyiv changes the situation and forces Moscow to take retaliatory measures.
