Recently it became known about the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ attack on Russian positions in the area of the city of Soledar on the territory of the DPR.
This was reported by retired Lieutenant Colonel of the People’s Militia of the LPR Andrey Marochko, noting that the strike was caused by prohibited chemical munitions.
When detonated, acrid smoke is released, which causes burning of the skin, and when inhaled, people lose consciousness, – TASS agency officer.
Marochko names his channels of information on the front lines as the primary source of information about such a strike.
Currently, according to him, specialists from the Russian radiation, chemical and biological defense troops are establishing the type of toxic substance.
In turn, TASS recalls that since the beginning of this year, several cases of the use of chemical weapons by the Ukrainian military have been recorded.
So, in April they used it in the Zaporozhye direction, in March – in Artemovsk and Donetsk, in February – in Artemovsk and Soledarsk.
